How to make older Samantha's curls

Right before we went to Chicago, I recurled my 80's Samantha's hair and it looks really good and is stil curly two months later.

I did a Downey rinse awhile back and rinsed her hair a LOT in cool water

I let her hair dry for a day or two and then I spritzed with water and used the SOFT rollers from the haircare kit. I curled according to directions but for Samantha curls, the rollers don't go all the way up to her scalp like the picture shows.

I spritzed the curls periodically throughout the day and let her hair dry for a day and then took them out.

It makes me feel sad to see how much Sam has changed since the 80's and glad that all my Sam dolls are pre-Mattel and 3 of them are from the 80's! Thanks for the album!
